Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration :12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work.
Required: • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Houston, TX (required); • Project management experience (5+ years); • Experience in the retail energy industry (electricity and/or gas) (2+ years); • Experience with deregulated energy markets, utility interaction, and customer lifecycle (enrollment, billing, renewal, drop); • Experience managing projects related to system integration, market entry, billing systems, or regulatory change; • Experience in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana); • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred: • Experience in t he retail energy industry, as well as the nuances of utility coordination, EDI transactions, and customer lifecycle management.
Responsibilities : • Lead and provide technical direction on business unit projects and/or project participants. • Plan, coordinate and manage large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long-term project(s) to ensure completion of design and construction within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. • Maintain thorough knowledge of new developments and/or technology pertaining to the project(s). • Monitor and recommend changes for improvement and cost savings. • Be fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of distribution design, and fully knowledgeable in interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures pertaining to distribution design. • Communicate relevant project information and routines status updates to stakeholders and team members. • Plan, execute, and manage cross-functional projects in the retail electricity and natural gas space across deregulated markets.
