Your Opportunity

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Team Lead to join the team at The Occasions Group in North Mankato, MN! This position will oversee, monitor, and coordinate activities for production teams responsible for material handling, assembly, and equipment operation.

Your Responsibilities

• Help the Supervisor keep daily operations running smoothly
• Keep the team on trackcommunicate goals, adjust as needed, and make sure everyone's aligned with the bigger picture
• Be the go-between for production and other departments to keep things moving
• Step in when issues come upwhether it's a customer concern or a team questionand work with the Supervisor to find a solution
• Build a strong, supportive team environment where people can do their best work
• Pitch in where needed, including covering for the Supervisor or others in the department when they're out

Your Shift: 12:00am - 8:00pm, Monday - Friday

You Must be able to:

• Communicate clearly and professionallywhether it's face-to-face or over email
• Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
• Pays close attention to the details that keep things running smoothly
• Can juggle multiple tasks without losing focus in a fast-moving environment
• Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do
• Works well independently but also knows how to be a solid team player
• Brings a positive attitude, likes solving problems, and doesn't mind a challenge
• Has at least 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

• High school education or equivalent

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19-21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
