Production Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
St. Paul, MN | Direct Hire | $30-36/hr with a $1.60 2nd shift pay differential
Konik is partnering with a medical/pharmaceutical manufacturer looking for a skilled Production Maintenance Technician with strong hands-on experience in die cutting and packaging/converting equipment. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, troubleshooting, and keeping production equipment running at peak performance. This opportunity is on 2nd Shift, 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday (occasional on-call, rare).
Production Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and computerized systems.
Perform preventative maintenance, adjustments, and alignments of production equipment: packaging, web converting.
Support production teams and collaborate with Engineering on equipment improvements.
Design and build equipment and fixtures as needed.
Provide training and support for operators and maintenance team members.
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
Production Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, technical certificate, or 3–5 years of related manufacturing experience.
1–2 years of industrial electrical and die cutting/converting/packaging experience preferred.
Proficiency with shop tools, measuring instruments, and electronic troubleshooting devices.
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, equipment databases).
Hands-on experience with die cutting and packaging/converting equipment.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and industrial electrical systems (sensors, controls).
Welding skills (TIG, MIG, Stick) a plus.
Basic understanding of PLC operation/programming.
