Production Clerk

We are seeking an experienced Production Clerk to support our clients manufacturing operations. This role performs clerical duties including logging mechanical drawings, maintaining records, data entry, filing, completing forms, and delivering documents to the production floor. The clerk reviews drawings and Bills of Materials for accuracy, enters information into the Made2Manage (M2M) system, and releases travelers to the appropriate departments. The position also researches job order information and works closely with Engineering and Production to resolve discrepancies.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $21-$22/hr Depending on Experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Log and review drawings and BOMs for missing or conflicting information
  • Enter standard routings into M2M and consult with supervisors as needed
  • Compare component and assembly drawings; follow up on discrepancies
  • Release travelers, stock travelers, pick lists, and stock item drawings
  • File change orders and BOMs
  • Communicate with shop supervisors to resolve issues
  • Provide backup phone coverage and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years as Production Clerk
  • Manufacturing background required; blueprint knowledge preferred
  • Strong data entry, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
