You will:

Set the vision for a team of Product Data Scientists

Provide leadership to the team to execute on the vision as the company scales its commercial operations, and own the output across data analysis, statistical modeling and report creation

Analyze complex operational and commercial data to enhance performance as Waymo scales our AV business

Function as a thought partner with senior management and stakeholders, and align stakeholders around the vision to gain cross-functional support

Manage prioritization of team resources to partner with cross functional teams such as Marketing, Engineering, Product, Strategy, Finance

You have:

10+ years of experience in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience

3+ years of team management experience

Statistical knowledge/data intuition

Ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems

Coding skills and experience

Experience interacting with senior leadership

We prefer:

Transportation or AV experience

Marketplace business experience

Experience interacting with product management teams

Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
