Summary
The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of business processes across the division. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, and supply chain performance by leveraging data analytics, design and systems thinking, and team leadership. This individual will lead a team that serves as the primary support for locations, addressing processes and administrative tasks. In addition, you will support your team in solving complex problems and serve as a resource for leadership, finance, credit and regulatory personnel as well as supporting agronomic sales and operations. This team will ultimately manage the process design, documentation and implementation, while leveraging data analytics, and cross-departmental collaboration to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, efficient processes across ag retail operations, from crop input planning to customer delivery. Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Own the lifecycle of key operational processes—from concept to SOP development and sustainment, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
Collaborate with agronomists, field operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to align process improvements with seasonal and regional business needs and the Retail Business strategic goals.
Lead workshops and discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to gather insights and validate process changes.
Lead and manage the team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Provides direction to team in understanding business challenges, providing solutions, driving standardized processes, implementation, training, troubleshooting and establishing best practices.
Support compliance with industry and environmental regulations. Support change management initiatives of digital tools and technologies to modernize ag retail workflows.
Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and performance metrics. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and process health metrics ensuring data integrity and functionality.
Typical Education
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from 4-year college or university
