Basic Qualifications: 8+ years in cloud architecture with a proven track record of designing and implementing cloud solutions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience delivering a minimum of 3 enterprise solutions for 10,000+ users across retail or CPG sectors within the past 5 years. Technical leadership in implementing at least 3 retail platforms handling over 50,000 daily transactions in e-commerce, POS, or supply chain systems. Led 3+ enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives with direct engagement with C-level stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional). Deep knowledge of AWS services across various domains including compute, storage, networking, security, and more. Understanding of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR. Expertise in optimizing performance and managing costs in cloud environments. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as part of the pre-sales process. History of thought leadership in the form of speaking engagements or publications that have influenced industry direction. Experience with developing innovative solutions using emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, AR/VR) in retail/CPG settings. This position is with Amazon Web Services, Inc. located in Los Angeles County.
