Overview Principal Consultant- GenAI/ML & Data Science, Professional Services, AWS Industries Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team as a Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers\' technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle, with a deep understanding of AWS products and services and the ability to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to customer needs. Responsibilities Design, implement, and build complex, scalable, and secure GenAI and ML applications and models on AWS tailored to customer needs Provide technical guidance and implementation support throughout project delivery, with a focus on AWS AI/ML services Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective model training, building, and deployment strategies Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts About the Team The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and provide guidance through our global specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries. Basic Qualifications 12+ years of cloud-based solution, system, network, and operating system experience (AWS or equivalent) 8+ years hosting and deploying GenAI/ML solutions (data pre-processing, training, deep learning, fine-tuning, inferences) or data science experience 12+ years of coding, data querying languages (e.g., SQL), and scripting languages (e.g., Python) Preferred Qualifications PhD or Masters in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience) Knowledge of AWS platform and tools; proficiency in AWS services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, S3, OpenSearch Service, Step Functions, Lambda, and EC2 AWS Professional-level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Specialty) preferred Hands-on experience with deep learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer), machine learning, CV, GNN, or distributed training Experience with Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Coding, Automation and Scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences EEO: Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on protected status Los Angeles County applicants: job duties include safety, cooperation, adherence to standards, effective communication, and compliance with laws and policies. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500/year to $284,300/year, with potential equity, sign-on, and additional benefits as part of a total compensation package.
