The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect (CSA) to help shape the future of cloud solutions for the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate with customers to understand their unique technical requirements and business goals while designing and implementing customized cloud solutions. Your Responsibilities: Design complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions that drive customer business outcomes (CBOs). Provide technical guidance and best practices during both pre-sales and implementation phases. Collaborate effectively with Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable. Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights into industry trends and emerging technologies. Share your expertise within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts. Your Success Factors: Impact the signing of Statements of Work (SOWs) and ensure successful implementation of solutions that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectations. Translate technical concepts into business value and create high-impact solutions tailored to individual customer needs. Basic Qualifications: 8+ years in cloud architecture with experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Delivered a minimum of 3 enterprise solutions serving over 10,000 users within the retail, CPG, or restaurant sectors in the past 5 years. Led technical implementations for at least 3 retail platforms processing 50,000+ daily transactions across e-commerce, POS, and supply chain systems. Engaged with C-level stakeholders during at least 3 enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional). Deep understanding of AWS services in compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies. Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
