As a part of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for cooking dishes, occasionally prepping ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and supporting other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about food, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
*Responsibilities:* * Prepare and portion ingredients including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces. * Follow recipes and kitchen guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. * Cooking basic menu items as directed by the chef. * Keep workstations clean and organized while following food safety and sanitation standards. * Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify the team of any shortages. * Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleanup as needed. * Work efficiently in a team-oriented environment to support overall kitchen operations.
*Qualifications:* * Prior kitchen experience of 1-2 years. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once. * Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. * Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (or willingness to learn). * Positive attitude and teamwork mentality.
