Salary: $19 - $20

New Restaurant Opening, located at Phoenix Art Museum. Training Expected to start early September.


As a prep cook, you will prepare food ingredients and assist with kitchen tasks, such as washing, chopping, and cleaning produce, while also ensuring the kitchen is organized and safe.

Key Duties:

  • Food Preparation:
    • Washing, chopping, and cleaning produce.
    • Preparing ingredients for cooking (e.g., slicing, dicing, measuring).
    • Seasoning and garnishing dishes.
    • Assisting with the preparation of batched prep items.
  • Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness:
    • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
    • Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
    • Storing food and supplies properly.
    • Unloading, inspecting, and storing raw ingredients and supplies.
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Assisting line cooks and chefs with various tasks.
    • Following health and safety regulations.
    • Ensuring proper food handling and storage.
    • May be responsible for stocking ingredients and re-ordering supplies.
  • Skills/Requirements:

    • Safe food handling and knife skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
    • Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
    • Teamwork and communication skills.
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to be on your feet for long periods.
    • Must have or be able to acquire an AZ Food Handlers card from an accredited program.
    • Must be able to reliably commute to work.
