We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our culinary team and help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Job Description: We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic Prep Cook to support our kitchen team. As a Prep Cook at Voodoo Jacksonville, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and assisting in the overall kitchen operations to ensure smooth service.
Key Responsibilities:  Prepare and measure ingredients for menu items according to recipes and specifications.  Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.  Measure and mix ingredients for sauces, dressings, and marinades.  Assist with the preparation of meats, seafood, and poultry.  Organize and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and storage areas.  Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible.  Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.  Assist the Line Cooks and other kitchen staff as needed.  Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Qualifications:  Previous experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar role is preferred.  Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety procedures.  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.  Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.  Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
