Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced prep cook who has both the passion and knowledge to produce amazing food to join our team at Copain Bakery & Provisions. This position provides a great opportunity for growth and to learn amazing food. We are looking for people with passion for cooking, who are willing to learn, as well as teach. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 35 – 45 per week

Shift:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Service and Maintenance

  • Restocks supplies and ingredients during shifts.
  • Sets up and stocks workstation with necessary supplies.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization during and after shifts.
  • Assist with chopping, peeling, portioning, and other simple prep tasks as directed by kitchen leadership.
  • Prepares and portions ingredients for recipes.
  • Responds to changing priorities during shift.
  • Handles special requests or dietary accommodations with professionalism.
  • Completes other duties assigned by management.

Experience/Education

  • Proven experience as a prep cook or similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
