Our Prep Cook II ensures all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet the specifications and commitment to quality set forth by Butler's Pantry. AM and PM shifts are available.
Your COMMITMENT to us:
GET THE JOB DONE (The necessary stuff) Arrive at your station ready to work at scheduled time and in proper uniform Completion of prep lists in an efficient, timely manner Recipe knowledge when prepping or assisting with any other production step Use scales, measuring spoons, recipe cards and perform portion control tests Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a "like new" condition Complete knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation Familiarity with various culinary processes including saut, sear, emulsify, etc. Strong knife skills

•Be a MIBE (Make It Better Everyday) Leader
•Model appropriate behavior and encourage team members to follow suit.
•Support a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality service staff employees.
•Act as an ambassador of the Company by sharing the Company's core values, vision and direction with others.
•Active participation in collaborative effort dates, assisting with duties outside your typical realm of responsibility during all hands-on deck dates (within reason and with advance notice).
Additional Qualifications and Requirements:
•Culinary experience with a caterer or restaurant
•Ability to chop, dice, measure, read prep lists, and follow instruction
•Safe food handling and safety is a top priority
•Professional appearance and conduct
•Capable of executing and following recipes
•Team player
•Willingness to assist or lead other team members
•ServSafe Required
