Additional Compensation Details: Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Job Description Schedule: 4:00am - 12:30pm (Must be Available Sunday) Pay: $22-23 per hour Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To: Perform routine kitchen tasks. Follow the prep list created to plan duties. Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible. Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking. Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep. Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes. Undertake basic cooking duties, such as reducing sauces and parboiling food. Prepare simple dishes, such as salads and entrees. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash. Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly. Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines. Strictly adhere to our Quality Assurance guidelines. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned. Ability to lift 50lbs. Qualifications Desired Minimum Qualifications: Able to read in English and mix recipes for food service items. Basic math skills - addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen Able to use kitchen equipment as necessary in preparation of food service items. High organizational skills with extreme attention to detail Able to read, write, communicate, and work well with others.
