Basic Functions: Control access points and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Conduct regular patrols of buildings and surrounding areas. Provide escort services for materials and personnel as needed. Inspect security measures and identify fire hazards. Handle special assignments as directed. Continuously monitor surveillance cameras as per post orders. Have a thorough understanding of emergency procedures to effectively respond to alarms and incidents. Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports, and other documentation related to your responsibilities. Propose practical improvements for safety and loss prevention based on your observations. Familiarize yourself with all life safety systems and security equipment to ensure their proper operation. Ensure compliance with training and guidelines established by management and relevant regulatory agencies. Maintain open communication with your Security Supervisor regarding new security concerns or necessary changes.
