Join Our Team as a Plasma Collection Medical Screener!
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to greet donors at our plasma collection center. As a Medical Screener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring donor safety and providing excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting qualified donors through the screening process by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Conducting health screenings, including assessing health history, measuring vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature), and performing finger sticks for hematocrit and total protein levels.
Educating new donors about the plasma donation process and answering their questions promptly and accurately.
Maintaining accurate donor records in our electronic information management system.
Ensuring a clean and safe work environment while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Being attentive to any reactions donors may experience during or after donation, promptly notifying appropriate staff.
Possible cross-training in other areas to support center operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of three months experience in clerical or customer service roles, preferably in a medical setting.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
