Reporting to the VP of Operations and working as part of a multi-site network, youll lead a team toward measurable, continuous improvementand ensure the site stays fully SQF-compliant.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations of all plant departments, ensuring safety, productivity, staffing, resource utilization, quality, and cost targets are met.
Collaborate with company executives and key managers to establish budgets and strategic plans to support corporate growth and profitability goals.
Develop and implement key performance metrics to drive a world-class manufacturing environment and ensure team accountability.
Champion Lean Manufacturing initiatives and promote continuous improvement across all operational processes, consistently improving performance metrics.
Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and other industry standards and regulations.
Environment and Work conditions:
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, high temperatures, and various industrial chemicals.
The environment includes potential exposure to noise, dust, and hot surfaces. Required protective clothing includes safety glasses, and earplugs
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory to meet SQF GMP IMS requirements, including hair nets, beard nets (if applicable), safety glasses, and ear protection
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations in high-volume environments (e.g., Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager), with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Injection and Blow Molding.
A Bachelors degree is preferred, though candidates with extensive experience in injection molding and PET operations will be considered
Strong management, processing, maintenance, and tooling knowledge, with the ability to train and troubleshoot effectively.
Metric-driven personality, with a focus on continuous improvement of key operational metrics.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and financial analysis skills.
