Summary The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a qualified physician with interest and experience in treating Parkinson's Disease and related movement disorders. The successful candidate will be appointed at a faculty level commensurate with experience and achievement. The successful candidate will provide clinical care for adults with neurological disorders in the outpatient setting and participate in research.
Job Duties
Provide patient care in the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center as well as inpatient clinical services at Baylor's affiliated institutions.
Participate in the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center (PDMDC) research program including clinical trials, translational research, and grant-funded projects.
Minimum Qualifications
MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree
Must have successfully completed residency training in adult neurology in an ACGME-accredited program
Board-eligible/board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Fellowship training is not required, although it will be considered
Applicants who have just completed training will be considered as will applicants with previous clinical experience
