Requirements of the Physician / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation : Must have an active NJ State License Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible Open to fellows Benefits of the Physician / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation : The starting salary for this position is $300,000 / yr Malpractice Health Insurance PTO Vacation 401K Profit Sharing CME Reimbursement - $5,000 Schedule of the Physician / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation :
This is for a Full-time position 3 days in Jersey City, 2 days in West New York (schedule is negotiable) Responsibilities of the Physician / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation : Examine patients who need to undergo physical therapy. Diagnose pain as a result of an injury, disease, or a disabling condition. Determine and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients. Recommend and undertake various medical procedures, such as disc decompression, prolotherapy, and vertebroplasty to treat pain and improve physical functioning. Lead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists and occupational therapists, in order to optimize patient care. Monitor ongoing progress and health of patients, and change treatment plans, as necessary. Provide adaptive tools to improve the overall health and physical functioning of patients. Counsel patients and their families and help them adapt to lifestyle changes. Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
