Pharmacy Technician ***CA Pharmacy Technician License required*** Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite-Castro area) Monday-Friday 9:30a-6:00pm Pay Rate: 23.00 per hour.

Position Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients.
Duties : Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues. Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance. Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist. Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports. Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs. Minimum Job Requirements: 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience in a mail order pharmacy, specialty orders or retail pharmacy.
Preferred Requirements: Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
Education : Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required. CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required.
