The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery. How you’ll contribute A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role: Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance, and support for the registered pharmacist.Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems. Fills medication carts daily.Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. Restocks emergency drugs in crash arts and stat boxes accurately and timely. Qualifications:What we’re looking for - Applicants should be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia (CPhT)Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Familiarity with pharmaceuticals, IV admixture, and handling of cytonix agents highly preferred.
