Position Purpose: As a Pharmacy Technician, will be responsible for assisting and supporting registered pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications and providing exceptional customer service to patients in our outpatient pharmacy setting. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and other team members to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of medication orders while adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines. Coordinates billing, including third-party prescriptions, accurately and timely. Fills Pyxis machines and Cubies. Prepares medications and supplies for dispensing. Assists Pharmacists in entering medical orders, obtaining patient demographics, delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary care areas. Prepare inventory, order drugs and supplies, repacks bulk meds, and stock shelves in various pharmacy locations. Performs other pharmacy related duties within the scope of certification/license.
