In this role: You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security. You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone. You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing. You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital. You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned. You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste. You will help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed. What qualifications you will need: Active Utah state Pharmacy Technician license required, as per State requirements, in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy National Certification (CPhT) required. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required within 7 days of hire. Hospital experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
