With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that's built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and clinical excellence.We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.Position Details: Facility: St. Joseph's HospitalLocation: Tampa, FLStatus: PRN (as needed), hourlyShift Hours: VariesWeekend Work: OccasionalOn Call: No Pharmacy Technician I, under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include: Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy departmentEfficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure customer satisfactionRequired Registration: Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Technician Registry or enrolled into a BayCare hospital with a Florida Board of Pharmacy Licensed Training Program for the Employer Based Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program Preferred experience is 1-year Institutional practice or equivalent as determined by the hiring manager. Required specific skills may also include successfully passing Pharmaceutical Calculations exam. Required Qualifications: High School Graduate or Equivalent GEDRequired FL Registered Pharmacy Technician License Preferred Qualifications: 1 year Pharmacy Technician experiencePharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) BayCare is all about making the most of your life and loving your career.
