Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment Under the direction of the pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment is responsible for day-to-day comprehensive pharmacy technician services in a complex specialty/mail order pharmacy. This may include delivery ticket fulfillment, labeling and packaging medications and orders, and inventory management. The Pharmacy Technician will skillfully use interpersonal, customer service, problem solving, and collaboration skills to support and influence operational objectives. Responsibilities include: Partner with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure pharmacy patients receive their medication(s) accurately, safely, in accordance with all legal requirements and policies and in a professional and timely manner. Under the direction of the pharmacist, fulfill and prepare prescription orders for delivery in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with all legal, regulatory agency, and Fairview requirements. Coordinate the ordering and delivery of medications, supplies, and equipment to patients and clinical areas as requested. Maintain appropriate stock levels and accurate inventory records, completing cycle counts and reconciling as appropriate. Other responsibilities as assigned. Required qualifications include: Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program within the first year of employment. Ability to become registered as a technician with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy. Preferred qualifications include: Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited pharmacy technician training program. Graduate of Pharmacy Technician program.
