Position Summary: As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy teams while honing your expertise in preparation for a future Pharmacist role. You will apply your pharmacy school knowledge in a real-world setting under the guidance of your preceptor, completing a comprehensive training roadmap that offers insights into pharmacy operations, including store, district, and regional practices. In this hands-on role, you will: Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and accurate prescription fulfillment. Deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices consistently. Engage with patients, offering empathy and genuine care during interactions. Handle prescription information and administrative tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Complete required training and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Be flexible with scheduling and travel to various stores as needed. You will be part of a collaborative team culture that encourages growth, feedback, and continuous improvement. This internship is not just about learning; it’s about making a difference in the lives of our patients. Requirements: Enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school. In the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure. Ability to demonstrate effective communication, customer service skills, and mathematical reasoning. Physical capability to carry out job functions including lifting and standing for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings. Willingness to obtain immunization certification as per state regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Pay Range: The typical pay range for this role is $18.50 - $20.25.
