Responsibilities

Client Communication: Respond promptly to phone, email, and in-person inquiries about personal insurance policies coverage options, billing, claims guidance.


Policy Management: Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and policy modifications efficiently and accurately.


Claims Support: Assist customers through the claims process opening files, explaining next steps, and liaising with adjusters.


Proactive Outreach: Contact clients ahead of renewals to review coverage and highlight related policy options that could better serve their needs.


Documentation: Maintain thorough, precise records of all client communications, transactions, and policy changes.


Cross Selling & Referrals: Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships by suggesting additional coverages such as umbrella or renters insurance.


Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales agents and colleagues to provide seamless service and help achieve agency performance goals.






Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent


Licensing: Michigan Property & Casualty (P&C) license PREFERRED (will cover all costs for right candidate to get licensed if needed)


Experience: Ideal for those with customer service or call-center backgrounds; insurance familiarity is a plus
