Our team values professionalism, attention to detail, and strong client service. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a background in personal injury law and third-party liability litigation , with the ability to manage cases from intake through trial preparation. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can provide strong support to attorneys while ensuring cases move forward efficiently. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury and third-party litigation cases. Order and follow up on requests for medical records and bills. Prepare medical bill evaluations on injury cases. Assist attorney with disbursement of funds once case settles. Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and correspondence. Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and paper. Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and court personnel. Manage deadlines, court dates, and attorney calendars. Prepare case summaries, medical chronologies, and trial notebooks. Coordinate depositions, mediations, and hearings. Perform legal research as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 1-2 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience in personal injury litigation and third-party liability cases . Strong knowledge of court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation timelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
