This opportunity is for experienced pharmacists seeking a flexible per diem role supporting a team of 2-3 pharmacists in retail pharmacy operations. Located in Oracle, AZ, the position is part of a network of pharmacies offering a food and pharmacy setting in the greater Phoenix and Tucson areas.

Location: Oracle, AZ within a commutable distance of Phoenix, with travel reimbursement available for longer distances.

Schedule/Hours:

• Per diem schedule, ideally 2-4 days per week
• Pharmacy hours generally Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., some locations until 8 p.m.
• Shifts are flexible based on coverage needs for call-outs, vacations, and volume fluctuations
• Training includes one paid 8-hour shift, additional sessions if required

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-quality retail pharmacy care in a high-volume environment (100-125 prescriptions daily)
• Collaborate with technician support; some sites operate as pharmacist-only, demanding strong independent capabilities
• Complete mandatory training to prepare for various pharmacy settings
• Administer immunizations (immunization privilege required) and maintain patient safety with current BLS certification
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy system proficiently

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience; 5+ years preferred for top pay
• Valid Arizona pharmacist license with no restrictions
• Current immunization privileges and BLS certification
• Familiarity with QS1 system advantageous
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
