Pharmacists are needed to join a per diem team providing retail pharmacy coverage across Northern California, including Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern CA (Redding, Chico). This opportunity suits part-time pharmacists seeking flexible shifts across multiple locations, with an average of 1-2 shifts per week available.

Responsibilities:

• Provide retail pharmacy services including dispensing, counseling, and day-to-day operations
• Effectively open and close the pharmacy according to protocols
• Manage pharmacy technicians and ensure smooth workflow during shifts
• Utilize McKessons Enterprise (ERx) software for accurate prescription processing
• Travel to various store locations within Northern California as needed

Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license with at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Experience in opening and closing pharmacies and managing techs is preferred
• Availability and willingness to commute and work across the specified Northern California areas
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced retail environment

Location:

• Primarily Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California regions such as Redding and Chico
• Travel reimbursement provided for mileage exceeding 30 miles one way
