\n We seek a
Per Diem Pharmacy Technician
to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
\n
Hours:
You must be able to fill in for PTO and call outs during these hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm CST with lunch from 12:00pm to 12:30pm CST
\n
Location:
4105 Kirkman St., Lake Charles, LA 70607; you may need to travel to the Sulphur, LA site at times to help with coverage and the address 2651 E Napoleon St., Sulphur, LA 70663 \n \n Primary Responsibilities:
\n Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
\n Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
\n Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
\n Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
\n Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
\n Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
\n Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
\n Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
\n Communication with clinic site/partner

\n \n Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Louisiana or Technician Candidate license in the state of Louisiana
\n Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver’s license
\n Ability to use your own car to travel to other places as needed and make small deliveries to facilities \n \n
Preferred Qualifications:
\n \n National Pharmacy Technician Certification
\n Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience \n \n \n Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you’ll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. \n
