Patient Experience Coordinator

Department: Patient Experience

Location: Potsdam, NY

Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8a-430p | Hybrid work model

Summary: Responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient patient experience process across the health system. Provides proactive rounding, education, and research to support patient-centered goals of the organization for the Corporate Compliance and Patient Experience department.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and Administering the SLH Volunteer Program
  • Creating and compiling patient satisfaction reports and distributing to departments
  • Collaboration with RRH on patient satisfaction data and Pulse reporting
  • NRC vendor management
  • Managing and Administering the SLH Patient Advisory Councils
  • Patient Rounding at each SLH facility
  • Coordination of the patient experience orientation presentations
  • Coordination of the patient experience leader and staff training programs
  • Provide administrative support for Compliance and Patient Experience department in the form of document management, administrative functions, communication and liaising with other departments and special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires 3-5 years' professional administrative work experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience in successfully performing software solutions, similar to:
  • SafeConnect (Event Reporting System)
  • EPIC (EMR)
  • NRC Picker (Patient Satisfaction Survey Vendor)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years' professional experience in audit controls preferred
  • Professional experience managing programs with successful implementation is highly desirable.
  • Three years general healthcare industry experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Pay Range: $24.00 - $31.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
