Salary Range: 16.00 - 23.00

Shifts are as following: two 12 hour shifts per week every other weekend and holiday commitment. Shift times are 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6 am.

We're looking for a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our family in an inpatient setting. A Nursing Assistant provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and is essential to keeping the unit functioning smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing assistance with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating, while supporting emotional and spiritual needs
  • Recording vital statistics, blood glucose levels, and other basic health information
  • Assisting with patient transfers and ambulation
  • Performing clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient healthcare
  • Preparing and cleaning patient treatment areas, living areas, and medical equipment
  • Disposing of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy

Qualifications include:

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
  • If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the North Dakota Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry upon completion of training/competency validation or a maximum of four months from the date of initial employment
