SUMMARY
BaxterBoo, an online retailer of pet food and supplies, is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse & Distribution Associate to join our distribution team in Vernon Hills, IL. This role involves receiving, organizing, and storing products, as well as picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. Ideal for someone looking to work flexible hours while contributing to a fast-paced, pet-loving environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Receive and verify incoming inventory
• Check inventory for accuracy and damage
• Label and store products appropriately
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders efficiently
• Wrap and prepare pallets for dispatch
• Report inventory errors or issues
• Perform other warehouse tasks as needed

Hours

• Wednesday - Friday
  • 6/7am - 3/4pm

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Forklift certification a plus (not required)
• Familiarity with RF scanners a plus
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours when needed
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or general labor experience a plus
• Flexibility to work as a team and individually

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Comfortable moving throughout the warehouse for extended periods
• Physically capable of handling warehouse tasks in various conditions (e.g., climbing ladders, varying temperatures)
