A leading nonprofit organization seeks a Part-Time Senior Administrative Assistant to partner closely with the Executive Assistant and leadership team. This highly visible role will provide advanced administrative and board support, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service to board members and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and distribute board packets and meeting correspondence. Coordinate, schedule, and manage meetings (primarily via Zoom), ensuring accurate logistics and timely communications. Serve as a liaison for board members and external consultants, delivering a high level of professionalism and service. Support the Executive Assistant with: Calendar management and meeting scheduling Managing email communications and correspondence Coordinating travel arrangements as needed Maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism in all interactions. Provide administrative support for multiple board of directors totaling more than 30 members. Board meetings are highly visible and central to the organization's success. Schedule & Work Arrangements: Immediate need for a part-time contractor (20-25 hours per week) Flexible schedule: Monday-Thursday, between 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (no Friday work required; organization operates on a 9/80 calendar) Remote or on-site options may be considered depending on organizational needs This is a contract position with the potential for permanent conversion. If converted, the role would become full-time and requires availability for full time work down the line Requirements: Proven experience as a senior administrative assistant or executive assistant, ideally within the nonprofit sector or in roles supporting boards/governance. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence. Collaborative, proactive, and able to partner seamlessly with senior leadership. High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
