In this role, you'll ensure efficient sales transactions while creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. Your Responsibilities: Welcome customers warmly and assist with their inquiries about products and services. Process transactions accurately using a cash register, handling various payment methods efficiently. Aim to meet or exceed sales goals, including credit and loyalty program sign-ups. Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent point of sale practices. Support new team members by sharing best practices and company procedures. Qualifications: Strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. No prior retail experience necessary. Must be at least 16 years old. Availability for flexible scheduling, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Experience: Experience in client-facing retail or service roles. Additional Requirements: Ability to perform various accountabilities effectively. Willingness to complete training programs satisfactorily. Compliance with dress code standards. Basic math, reading skills, and computer literacy. Capable of using handheld scanners and other technology as required. Maintain regular attendance and adhere to scheduling expectations. Perform physical tasks as detailed in the Physical Requirements section. Physical Requirements: Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs. with assistance. Engage in activities such as climbing, kneeling, bending, and reaching. Stand or walk for entire shifts. Visually verify information and inspect merchandise. Comply with all health and safety standards. Compensation: Pay starts at $15.00.
