Job Overview - As a Part-Time Retail Data Collection Specialist, you will join our CROSSMARK Field Intelligence Team. Your primary task will be to travel to various grocery, mass merchant, and drug stores to collect observational data regarding product placement and inventory levels. This role involves spending much of your day walking and standing on the sales floor, utilizing a handheld device to scan products. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday between 8 am and 5 pm, with occasional weekend shifts. After completing the initial training, you can enjoy some flexibility in your scheduling as long as assigned tasks are completed by their respective deadlines. Important Note: This job description outlines the main functions, but associates may be required to perform additional job-related tasks as directed by management. Physical Requirements: While working in retail environments, you'll need to: Sit, reach (overhead, under, and at arm's length), bend, climb, kneel, stand, squat, and walk on a flat surface. Lift up to 30 lbs. and manage a handheld device weighing 2 lbs. over extended periods. Count reserve stock in coolers/freezers as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational abilities. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently while adhering to instructions. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance are mandatory.
