In this role, you will either operate registers, manage inventory, or maintain store appearance, and every day will bring new experiences and challenges. Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00 Duties and Responsibilities: - Collaborate with team members and communicate important updates to your supervisor. - Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data in your area. - Fulfill any additional duties as assigned. Cashier Responsibilities: - Process customer transactions quickly and accurately. - Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store. - Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly. - Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience. - Share feedback with management regarding product performance and inventory issues. - Assist in conducting inventory counts according to store guidelines. Stock Associate Responsibilities: - Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness. - Follow merchandising planograms to create attractive displays. - Organize incoming inventory and manage empty packaging. - Use equipment safely, adhering to all safety procedures. Physical Demands: - Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store. - For Stock Associates: Ability to handle merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds and place products on shelves at various heights. Qualifications: - Must be 18 years of age or older. - Strong commitment to providing friendly and prompt customer service. - Capable of following cleaning standards and practices. - Effective verbal communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Strong time management skills and product knowledge. For Cashiers: - Proficient in operating cash registers efficiently and accurately. - Comply with all state and local regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages. For Stock Associates: - Must have morning availability with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. to meet operational needs. Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.
