Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.00 | Year 3 - $18.50 | Year 4 - $18.50 | Year 5 - $19.50 Duties and Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with team members while effectively communicating updates to your direct leader. Maintain security and confidentiality of all documents and data. Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Cashier Responsibilities: Process customer purchases efficiently and neatly maintain store cleanliness. Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience. Offer constructive feedback to management regarding products, inventory accuracy, and any scanning errors. Participate in regular inventory counts and monitor stock levels closely. Adhere to all cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses. Stock Associate Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness for our customers. Follow merchandising guidelines to create attractive displays. Organize incoming inventory and efficiently break down packaging. Operate machinery while adhering to all safety protocols. Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store as needed. Stock associates should be able to stock merchandise efficiently, lifting products up to 45 pounds at various heights. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Proficient in offering friendly and prompt customer service. Ability to clean and organize according to company standards. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Prior knowledge of company products and services is a plus. Specific Cashier Qualifications: Experience operating cash registers accurately and efficiently. Compliance with local regulations regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages. Specific Stock Associate Qualifications: Capability to operate equipment safely, including manual and electric jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers. Availability for morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. is necessary for stock associates. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in the retail sector is advantageous. A combination of education and experience reflecting appropriate knowledge is acceptable.
