Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $17.50 | Year 3 - $18.00 | Year 4 - $18.00 | Year 5 - $19.00 Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Work collaboratively with team members and effectively communicate with your direct leader. Maintain the security and confidentiality of documents and data in your area of responsibility. Perform other assigned tasks as necessary. Cashier Responsibilities: Efficiently process customer purchases while keeping the checkout area clean. Stock shelves and merchandise displays in an orderly fashion. Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers in their experience. Provide feedback to management regarding products, inventory discrepancies, scanning issues, and other operational matters. Assist in conducting store inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels. Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses. Stocker Responsibilities: Stock shelves and rotate products to guarantee freshness for customers. Follow merchandising guidelines to create eye-catching displays. Organize incoming inventory and dispose of empty boxes safely. Operate relevant machinery while following all safety protocols. Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Stockers must be able to handle merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds and stock products at various heights. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service. Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to company standards. Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Excellent verbal communication skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Effective time management skills. Knowledge of the company’s products and services is a plus. For Cashiers: Ability to efficiently and accurately operate a cash register and comply with state and local laws for handling alcoholic beverages. For Stockers: Ability to safely operate equipment, such as electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers. Morning availability is necessary, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. Education and Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in retail is advantageous, though a combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
