Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Are you a retired teacher or teaching professional seeking a small environment rather than a classroom? Part-Time positions are now available in Seattle and the Eastside.
As a Part-Time Nanny, you will: Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child Support families who need back-up care for children ranging from infants through school age. High demand for children under the age of 2! Engage children by leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children's interests and age-appropriate development. About You: 1 year of childcare experience At least 15 hours of availability per week Ability to pass a background screen; 3 references (2 of which are childcare-related) A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle Must be at least 17.5 years old Benefits: $20-$22 hourly Set your schedule through our My Jovie App Build requested and repeat assignments with favorite families Working Conditions and Requirements: Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play Essential Physical Requirements: Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
