Overview A family in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time nanny for their 19-month-old, starting ASAP. The schedule will be Fridays from 7 am-7 pm, and the family would be open to adding Saturdays to the schedule to bring hours up to 20 per week, if candidates prefer. There is also a possibility that the role may transition to full-time by the end of December.

Responsibilities

Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the child at all times

Provide attentive, engaging, safe care for the child

Competently manage drop off and pick up from camp, playdates, and activities

Create a joyful, loving environment where the child feels safe, stimulated, and supported

All typical nursery duties will apply - keeping play areas tidy, keeping on top of supplies, removing old toys/ wardrobe items that no longer fit, etc.

Qualifications

US passport, Green Card or EAC Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working with children from 0-3 years

Be punctual and reliable (no last-minute call-outs)

Wear professional attire (e.g., no lounge wear)

Be hygienic: no long decorated nails, hand washing, wearing house shoes, etc.

Knowledgeable in childhood milestones and development

Prepare meals, and adhere to the child's routine (he is in a very good sleep routine)

Trustline registered (or willing to register ASAP)

Available to start ASAP

$40-$45/hr
