We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time MRI/Radiology Technologist to join our MRI department, working 20 hours per week. Your Role: Prepare and position patients, ensuring accurate selection of anatomic and technical parameters for producing cross-sectional images. Conduct pre-screening, scheduling, and provide education to patients about their examinations. Monitor patient data and facilitate the transfer of high-quality images. Administer contrast media and medications as per regulations within your skill set. Ensure top quality of images submitted to PACS, including correct patient information. Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues to ensure safe and effective functionality. Help keep the department clean and organized, including all areas of the MRI suite. Stay alert and operate safely at all times. Undertake additional duties as required. Requirements: Completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program. Must either hold or obtain ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification within 12 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. No prior experience is necessary, making this a great opportunity for new graduates! Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk constantly throughout the shift. Strong visual acuity and hearing capabilities are needed. Ability to occasionally lift and move patients and objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
