Job Overview
As a Massage Therapy Specialist, your primary role will be to provide relaxation and relief from physical discomfort through expert massage techniques. You will engage with clients to understand their unique needs and create a tranquil environment while skillfully addressing muscle tension and pain.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe and effective therapeutic massage tailored to individual client needs.
Establish a professional and welcoming environment by discussing client requirements and concerns prior to each session.
Allow sufficient time for clients to prepare for their massage and ensure their comfort.
Maintain accurate client records by documenting each session on the client information sheet.
Communicate efficiently with team members regarding scheduling and potential conflicts to prevent overlaps with other therapists or medical staff.
Ensure that massage equipment and supplies are well-maintained and the massage room is inviting and clean.
Regularly clean the massage table, change linens, and replenish supplies as needed.
Notify management promptly to reorder supplies when inventory is low.
Qualifications
Minimum of 500 hours from an AMTA or ABMP accredited massage therapy program.
Current CPR/AED certification.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage of $20-24.
