We are on the lookout for a Part-Time Level 2 Assistant Manager who will help lead the most vibrant store in the mall and support the Store Manager in achieving key store objectives such as sales targets, recruitment, and employee development. What You'll Do: Assist the Store Manager in reaching sales goals with a focus on collaboration and team performance. Help to recruit, develop, and retain a passionate and cooperative team to run the store successfully. Be the store's biggest advocate by creating excitement and engagement through product promotions, leveraging social media, and exploring benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Lead operational excellence by maintaining a balance of operations, delegation, and customer-centric selling practices. Monitor inventory loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules proactively. Communicate effectively with retail leadership and HQ partners about trends and customer feedback. Analyze sales reports and employ data-driven strategies to achieve sales targets. Visually merchandise the store compellingly while launching promotions punctually. Collaborate with the Store Manager to nurture a high-performing team of loyal associates. What You'll Need: 1-2 years of experience in retail store management; a passion for music and pop culture is preferred. Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive teams to success and a strong foundation in communication, recruiting, and operations management. Exceptional skills in time management, professionalism, and a commitment to developing team members. A high school diploma or GED equivalent; a degree is a plus. A proactive approach to adapting to the fast-paced retail environment. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and physically handle boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
