Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Part-Time IPP Program Assistant Manager. Reporting to the IPP Director, this position develops and manages the Peak Performance program for UNG and will collaborate across UNG's academic and co-curricular functional area faculty and staff, including Academic Affairs, Business Operations, Department of Athletics, Cadet Leadership Academy, Strategic Comms and Marketing and Student Engagement to enable program development, growth, and success. In addition to collaborating with UNG internally, the assistant manager will explore and develop beneficial external partnerships with Dept of Def and U.S. Army units as well as private industry.
Responsibilities
Develop or coordinate subject matter expertise and advice for IPP; accomplish related tasks including scheduling, facilitating and supporting visits and instruction. This is a public facing requirement that may include ceremonial representation, meeting with cadet alumni and other community leaders. Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external subject matter experts and IPP / H2F-related entities for opportunity to partner, expand outreach and/or contribute to IPP mission success. Interact directly with athletes, cadets, Corps of Cadets leadership, coaches, and others as required. Participate, lead and instruct in a classroom or outdoor exercise environment. Help develop, maintain, and improve the IPP website. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Excellent management and leadership skills; demonstrated ability to work and collaborate with individuals and teams Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills; adaptive, creative; excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to work with very little oversight. This position requires adherence to fitness and appearance standards equivalent to those outlined in U.S. Army Regulation AR 600-9, as they are essential to the operational and representational duties of the role. This position must be able to carry out physical requirements of the position to include participation in and leading IPP physical programs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Demonstrated success and progressively increasing responsibility in a related field Positive leadership performance based on evaluations or references' input.
