Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and pickup of containers to and from customer locations. Your primary goal will be to ensure safe, timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safely drive and operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites. Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the commercial vehicle and lift. Flexibly accept additional delivery requests as required to support business operations. Utilize a company-provided handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation. Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane when necessary. Ensure containers are cleaned and inspected to guarantee they are presentable for customers. Coordinate rental paperwork and payment processes with customers. Communicate effectively with the Driver Lead or Market Manager regarding customer inquiries and issues, preparing notes as necessary. Perform on-site repairs for containers and lifts as needed. Assist with storage center functions when required. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the truck cab. Other duties may be assigned as required. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Valid CDL Class B License without air brake restriction is required. Must maintain a current and valid driver license. Adhere to PODS Driver Qualification Standards. Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement). Possession of a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate or the ability to obtain a minimum one-year certification (DOT requirement). Familiarity with electronic equipment and software is preferred. Strong math skills to perform required duties. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. Ability to attend the required two-week New Hire Driver Training Program.
