Overview: The Part Time Brand Ambassador is responsible for driving brand awareness through executing in store tastings in outlets ensuring outlets are perfectly merchandised with our POS and supporting the sales counterpart to bring more awareness to our portfolio of products through education and training of budtenders and consumers. The role will support the salesperson in the state along with our distributor. The main priority for this role is to build brand awareness and drive trial for Lay Up Hemp drink. This role involves outreach to customers who are not purchasing our product, educating customers and store associates on Layup, visual merchandising, and representing the brand at events like trade shows and expos. Ideal candidates have experience in the cannabis industry or a related field, possess excellent communication skills, and are motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible. Availability on nights and weekends is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of Cirona Labs' product lines and effectively educate customers on each product.
Act as the face of the portfolio in the market and supporting their sales counterpart to drive consumer conversion.
Maintain a list of accounts to call and email weekly to secure non buy outlets to buying outlets, and deliver incremental velocity and in outlet execution
Support brand awareness and engagement to build and drive B2B
Provide visual merchandising and product placement within all assigned accounts.
Conduct staff training sessions to drive education and brand awareness.
Gather store traffic insights, collect feedback, and report market intelligence to senior leadership.
Execute marketing requests from management, ensuring on-brand representation.
Provide content to customers to promote our products on their webpages and on their social channels.
Maintain professionalism and discretion regarding company matters.
Project Management:
Leverage the occasions calendar to determine the brand priorities for each month, supported with our marketing assets.
Administrative Work:
Conduct ongoing research on cannabis events and trends.
Prepare reports and recaps of training sessions and events, including feedback and surveys.
Maintain a toolkit and educational materials.
Update the CRM daily with customer interactions.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in sales, and/or promotional role required.
Strong time management skills, highly organized, and detail oriented.
A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.
Knowledge or willingness to learn state-specific cannabis laws and regulatory compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
An eye for aesthetics, styling, and brand presentation.
1+ years of experience in the legal cannabis industry preferred but not required.
Must be at least 21 years of age .
Must have a valid driver's license .
Must have access to reliable transportation (commuter benefits apply)
Ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time
Ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Exposure to such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures (hot and cold), humidity, darkness, and noise.
Daily exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) such as hair net, earplugs, beard net (if applicable), protective gloves, safety harness, safety glasses and slip resistant work shoes/boots. Personal protective equipment, as defined by Cirona Labs, will be provided.
Position requires the ability to stand; sit at a desk; walk around office and facility; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; and reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting. Also requires the ability to see; hear; and communicate by utilizing professional etiquette with all levels of associates and with external vendors.
