Position: Part-Time After School Educator Schedule: Starting August 22nd with live training. Part-time hours typically from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM (slightly varying), with Wednesday starting at 1:30 PM due to early dismissal. Requirements: 18+ years old, High School Diploma or equivalent, live scan fingerprint completion, and a Health Certificate with a Negative TB Test from a physician. Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with youth aged 12 to 14 in a school or group setting is preferred. Compensation: Pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on prior experience in youth childcare. Your Role: Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance and observations. Deliver an engaging daily curriculum that enhances academic and social skills, fostering a meaningful learning experience. Utilize your training to model positive guidance and effective classroom management, ensuring a safe and attentive environment for children while supporting homework, fitness activities, and play. Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel. Meet regularly with the Program Manager to discuss professional development and team accountability.
